- I'll agree with the 16 MB of RAM, but how hefty a CPU you need
- depends entirely on what you're doing with it. We have a 386/40
- running Sybase, Gupta and NetWare SQL simultaneously and, in a
- fairly light-load situation, it performs just fine with all three
- loaded in 16 MB. I'd certainly agree, though, that if you're going
- to err when specifying a system to run these engines, you should
- err on the side of buying too much power.
