- Having just started to play around with NB4 new footnotes and needing to get
- a book into print by Wednesday I ran into the following problem (one of many,
- but so far the only real serious one): sometimes the footnotes with variant
- readings (unnumbered, FN1) do not appaer at the bottom of the page but are
- placed just below the text. I need to get the notes to appear relative to the
- bottom margin. In NB3 there was a command for that (bf=1) which seems to be
- lacking in NB4. Any suggestions of how to accomplish this? BTW, looking at the
- NB3 manual I noticed the sc command to change the way the note number comes
- out (superscript or on the line). Is there any way to change this in NB4?
