- Any study of the costs of searching Medline that currently exists in print
- is going to be obsolete in 1993, since the costs of searching MEDLARS go
- down dramatically as the year begins.
-
- Having said that, however, I offer below a citation to the most
- comprehensive study of this kind that I know. It was done here at
- McMaster University in 1985; it is out-of-date now, but its data were
- unchallenged from 1985 through 1992.
