- We don't do any table of contents routing at Tulane Medical School. I
- hesitate to ask this, but since I've recently taken an excellent class
- on "Copyright Law in the Age of Technology" taught by Laura Gasaway, I'm
- concerned about the copyright implications of making multiple copies of
- tables of contents and distributing them. It doesn't seem logical to me
- that that would violate copyright law since there's little creative
- substance in a table of contents, but laws are not always logical. The
- thing that concerns me is the systematic multiple copying. It's still
- a small portion of the whole, and I would think publishers would be glad
- to have as many people aware of what is in their journals as possible.
- However, I have this funny feeling that there may be a problem with this
- Could someone who is more knowledgeable than I shed some light on this
- subject? Thanks
