  11. Point taken, Bill.  What I'm really looking for is some way to coordinate
  12. relationships between primary and secondary curricula on the one hand and
  13. postsecondary curricula on the other; I don't really care which end the
  14. impulses come from, so long as they're creative impulses and so long as they
  15. don't get stifled by the kind of bureaucratic thinking you describe.  Maybe we
  16. need a Renaissance weekend.  Hilton Head, anyone?
