- my def. of "social construction" suggest that nothing in the social world is
- natural.... that through communiities, institutions, language, etc. the
- social world is constructed..... Berger's book on the social construction of
- knowledge is a good one to begin with.... the question is: Who benefits from
- the way things are? and How do the stay the same or change?
