  16. According to an article in a September issue of Federal Computer Week:

  18. "The Logistics Management Institute has published a guide to electronic data
  19. interchange (EDI) translation software that offers information on price,
  20. hardware compatibility and availability on General Services Administration or
  21. Defense Department schedules.

  23. "The guide was developed as a reference for Defense agencies but is available
  24. free to any government agency in search of EDI solutions ....

  26. "'A Guide to EDI Translation Software' lists 110 commercially available EDI
  27. translation products from 50 vendors. It identifies 48 key features of the
  28. software packages, tells which of the features are offered by each vendor and
  29. explains which features are needed for mainframes, minicomputers and
  30. microcomputers.

  32. "...Federal agencies can obtain a free copy by faxing a request to
