- The argument is being made that Operation Rescue is in no way li ke Act Up
- because their tactics are different. I couldn't care less about Act Up in
- this context, no comparisons need be made in order to indict Operation
- Rescue.
-
- The simple facts are that people who call themselves Christians were
- engaging in the disruption of a Christian worship service, how they did it
- is irrelevant.
-
- I can hardly imagine a person who considers themselves a Christian doing
- such a thing. I won't go so far as to say that the O.R.people couldn't be
- Christians, but such actions surely put their sincerety in question.
-
- Jesus said that where two, three or more are gathered in His name, He is in
- their midst. How can somebody who claims to be a follower of the Master
- justify the interruption of such a service? To say that the particular
- church in question was engaging in non-Christian things regarding their
- teen sexuality seminars is a poor excuse at best. Christians are called to
- a state of deportment that is above the rabble, but such actions reduce
- Christians to rabble in the world's eyes. And, I don't mind telling you,
- it reduces them to rabble in the eyes of many Christians, too.
-
- Let's stop defending Operation Rescue and see it for what it is, a Satanic
- delusion that is tearing Christians away from their God.
