  24. I always thought that Operation Rescue's energies were misdirected
  25. (e.g., trying to prevent abortions at "point-of-sale" rather than
  26. offering a viable alternative much earlier), but I have found this
  27. position to be fairly ineffective in talking to O.R. supporters.  I
  28. suspect they will lose much of their support over this incident.

  30. Adopting the same tactics as militant gays was a *big* mistake, one
  31. which will once again slander Christianity in the public eye--just as
  32. we were making a comeback from the televangelist scandals a few years
  33. back.  Christians in movies and on TV are actually being portrayed in a
  34. *positive* light on occasion (rather than as zealous maniacs) for the
  35. first time in years.  I can't *wait* to see the media coverage on
  36. this.  Nothing makes sharing the Gospel harder than being associated
  37. (in someone else's mind) with a bunch of zealous maniacs.  :-(
