Thanks to all who chipped in their .02 cents worth.

Finally got it working this weekend.  Don't know what exactly triggered the
servers to finally start talking to each other.  Like i had mentioned earlier
the servers were able to see each other (neighbors in MNET), just couldn't
access anything across the line. Both had unrestricted access to each other.
Am running the SS-WAN option.

Changed only one thing. Under restrict Internetwork access, i deleted the
serial number for the remote server (since i noticed it was optional;
desperately trying anything). Shut down and reassigned the line again.
Wouldn't you know it, the servers started talking.  No, the serial number was
correctly entered. Chalk up another LOK (Lord only knows).

Anyone had/have problems with the internetwork access option. Local server is
4.11(5) remote 4.00(2).  Don't ask me why i'm still running 4.00(2); its an
old Banyan DTS server (7 users; mail only). We just can't seem to get rid of
it.
