  17. The user is in Africa with no email.  Though we could have him dial into
  18. our server to read/send mail, the long distance charges make it
  19. prohibitive.  Since it is much less expensive for the University to call
  20. Africa than for Africa to call the University, one of the staff here will
  21. use Kermit to transmit the file to Africa once a week.  With that in
  22. mind, it would be a better solution if one could dump the entire mailbox
  23. to a file rather than save each message to multiple files, and then append
  24. them together.
