- Greetings from the very inactive APPC-L list! This list has had only one
- substantive post in the last six months, and yet it has 121 subscribers
- in seventeen different countries... and there is a steady stream of new
- subscribers. Clearly people are hoping for some value from this list, but
- not much is being presented. It seems rather pointless to maintain an
- inactive mailing list, but we will if the subscribers want it kept
- around for future discussions.

- I put it to you: Should this list continue to exist, or should we close
- it down? If you feel the list should continue, is there anything we can
- do make it more helpful (such as providing an ftp repository of APPC
- programs and examples such as those offered recently by Tim Eisler)?
