  12. There was a recent question about what support Geac will give to their
  13. new CLSI customers.  I'll quote below the official statement from
  14. Mike Greenough's letter of December 4:

  16. "This acquisition is an important demonstration of Geac's commitment
  17. to the library market.  Geac/CLSI objectives will be to:
  18.  
  19. 1.  Provide ongoing support for all its products.
  20.  
  21. 2.  Protect its customers' investments in library automation.
  22.  
  23. 3.  Provide a superior product at a reasonable cost.
  24.  
  25. 4.  Provide a path into the future for its' customers. "
