-
- Jon, you seem to be saying that this is a problem for EFF-National.
- I don't believe that we're worried about your "resisting" any
- attempts by us to create new rules. The whole point of the chapter
- conference is that *any* new rules be a product of negotiation and
- consensus, not fiat. I strongly believe that EFF-Austin won't
- "resist" policies that it took part in shaping.

-
- Are you sure of this?
-
- >We don't need money or guidance from EFF-National,

-
- No one at National thinks EFF-Austin is a "competitor" in any way.
- I'm not sure where Jon gets this "problem."
-
- >4) EFF-National has not been good at communicating with its

- We agree, of course, on this point.

-
- I'm not sure what you're basing this on. Most EFF staff and board
- members are on the Net and take part in e-mail, mailing lists, and
- newsgroups.
-

-
- I think there are others, Jon--notably Gerard Van der Leun, Rita
- Rouvalis, and me.
