- The generators used the phaser energy, the torpedoes are dumb missiles,
- ie point at what ever you want to blow up and fire, once it's fired
- it just keeps going till it hits something then blows it to pieces.
- If a torp. hits an asteroid the generator would be destroyed by the physical
- stress of the explosion (the asteroid it was attached to being pounded into
- dust).
