- I don't have the inclination to go & look for the exact info right now (it's
- after 11pm & I've had a long day :-), but what it bois down to, is that the
- bigger hard drive you have, the larger the minimum file size. I think it has
- to do with the block size of the device: larger device, larger blocks. But
- 0-15k per small file on a 1 Gig drive? I wouldn't worry too much. Of course,
- you will fill whatever size HD you have to capacity, and you'll want another
- drive then, not just another few k of space :-) The larger files shouldn't
- take too much more space (16k blocks notwithstanding), and it might be
- possible that partitioning the drive might help. I don't know if it would,
- though, as I've not done it myself.
