- I have encountered an unexpected anomaly when using a large capacity hard
- drive. Inve noticed that files using less than 16K actually always take
- up exactly 16K of disk space. Also, larger files tend to take a lot more
- room on the big drive than elsewhere. I wonder if anyone has a simple
- reason or solution to offer?
- I imagine there is some overhead with respect to directory information,
- perhaps, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
- The drive is a Wren 1.0 GB external drive. It has only recently been
- formatted using PLI formatter 3.4. E-mail replies would be appreciated,
- and Inll compile useful info for others to read on aus.mac.
- Thanks in advance.
- Matt
