  23. This may not be the solution to your problem, but Csound phase vocoder
  24. (pvoc) tool performs fft.   Csound also contains a number of
  25. file-tools.  It might be  worth looking into as a good sound
  26. synthesis software.   Available by ftp from ems.media.mit.edu.

  28. And now a question from me: 
  29. I have installed cmusic, but cannot get hi-fi playback on the sparc10
  30. - the small DA converter provided by the vendor here seems a cheap,
  31. noisy thing.  What do you use for IO and AD - DA conversion?  Do you
  32. record digital, and how?   I would be thankful for any information.
