- Sun Sparc10 is supposed to be capable of 16 bit (Stereo?) Sound. The
- problem is how to make use of this capacity for things like hifi
- music. The confituration in the lab I work at feeds the digital signal
- into an small external DA device with a loudspeaker and a
- very noisy mini-jack output. This DA seems insufficient for playback
- of hifi files, as synthesized for example by Csound.
-
- Does anyone know how to make high-fidelity recordings from CD/DAT
- (input) or into DAT (output), if not digital, at least relatively
- noise-free, on the Sparc10 ?
-
- Thank you,
