  23.    I had one of their last years models, the spider 4/3. 
  24.    It committed hari-kari at most seams by last summer.
  25.    They gave me a brand new one with "titanium micro-flakes" fluff jersy.  
  26.    Free, which was very cool, I have to admit.

  28.    All the seams that used to be taped and glued are now taped and 
  29.    stitched. I've had it since september so I can't say too much but
  30.    nothing has gone wrong and I like it.

  32.    It seems warm, but I doubt it's a whole lot warmer. I'm sure things
  33.    like good seams and fit are still more important. There is a little
  34.    note on the tag saying japanese textile authority proved it to be
  35.    22% warmer, but then again, the japanese make the stuff, so you'd
  36.    expect something like this.

  38.    The marketing argument on the tag, obviously written by a
  39.    southern californian, ;-), says something pretty ridiculous:

  47.    The titanium jersey just looks like grey terry-cloth on the 
  48.    backside of their smooth (textured actually) neoprene surface so
  49.    it's only on back, chest and lower arms. 
  50.    I expect it will get pretty raggedy by next winter.
