- I wouldn't bother with the over-the-counter pills. I tried them
- once or twice and all they did was make me cranky! I have tried
- prescription ones (brand name Fastin) and they help a little. They
- might be beneficial over a week or two period. In the long run, though,
- you're just gonna have to use good old fashioned discipline. I'm convinced
- that the best way to lose 10-15 lbs is by slowly changing your eating
- habits. I mean, when you get hungry what do you eat? Sweets or
- snack foods? What about fruit or non-fat frozen yogurt? I think that
- substituting lower fat/calorie foods would help you lose that weight
- but it might take a few months.
-
- As for exercise I recommend reading Covert Bailey's Fit or Fat. You'll
- realize that for many aeorbic exercises you don't have to spend an hour
- to get the benefits. I used to do 12 mins stepping up and down on
- 2 big books! It really helped. Good luck!
