  23. My Dad had a series of heart attacks at about that age, and just
  24. celebrated his (their) golden wedding anniversary last week.  I know
  25. that things have changed for him in the intervening 23 years, but if he
  26. had gone around feeling like he was going to check out any moment (as he
  27. felt at first), I'm sure that he wouldn't be around now.
