- Jules Feiffer has a full page in Sunday, NYTimes, Dec. 20, 1992, titled "How
- the Family Stole Christmas", devoted to cartoons of family members making a
- lad feel lousy. (Example: Father, opening box with tie in it, tells son,
- "The present I really wanted was for you to get an 'A' in math.") The
- page might have been subcaptioned: "Toxic Family? Invite them to spend the
- holidays with you by telling them to go to hell."
