- Some people continue to make this statement, and I'm still waiting to
- see what morals embraced by most Americans are uniquely Judeo-
- Christian in origin. They act like the J/C's have cornered the market
- on morals.

- Actually, they came here because they wanted to escape from a
- government that forced them to accept the state religion as their own.
- They escaped legislated morality.

- I believe that that is the point that the gay rights activists have
- been trying to get across all this time.

- Nobody's arguing with that. You mention murder, robbery, rape, and
- assault. I think you'll be hard pressed to find people who don't
- consider these things wrong. Now, you _can_ find people who would and
- do commit these acts without remorse, but that is an entirely
- different problem. However, this is not a uniquely J/C system of
- morals. These morals are quite universal.
-
- I think the problems begin when we all disagree on just _what_ morals
- our "society" should and should not have. Personally, I think it's
- relatively easy to figure out. There are morals that protect the
- rights of individuals, and there are morals that infringe upon the
- rights of individuals. Figure it out for yourself...
