  21. don't like to regard all suicides as cases of cowards.

  25.     One can also kill one's self for the benefit of others.  Consider
  26. people who make the "ultimate" sacrfifice.  Didn't Jesus say something 
  27. about this?  Of course, if other people truly mean more to a man than his
  28. own life, then the ultimate sacrifice would be for him to take the life
  29. of one friend to save the life of another.  I mean, there's more value
  30. involved...

  32.     I had a friend whose parents told him not to come home for 
  33. Christmas this year because, while they had begun to accept his 
  34. homosexuality a bit, they had since been counseled by their religious
  35. leaders, and decided to take a tougher stand.  The father even went to
  36. Oregon to help pass Prop 9.

  38.     After two months of intransigence and
  39. rejection by his parents, and surely due to other troubles as well,
  40. my friend jumped off a bridge a week before X-mas.

  42.     I regret his action, and I do not think anything is worth
  43. giving up your life, but I do know that my friend was no coward.  I
  44. do hold it against his parents and their Godly advisors, at least in
  45. part.

  47.     If you ever have a Gay child, don't ever reject him or her, 
  48. regardless of what you may feel about his "sin".
