- All I am arguing with is the charactarization of the elimination of a business
- tax exemption as a middle class tax increase.
- Higher costs of doing business are spread among employees and customers, and
- do not translate as a direct tax on the middle class workers. I was pointing
- out that a couple of conservatives were carping about Clinton breaking his no
- middle class tax increase promise when the evidence does not support such a
- conclusion.
