- Wrong. Sex education was put into classrooms because several very influential
- educators "thought" that parents were doing nothing to teach their kids
- about sex. The real case was that those parents were not teaching their
- kids what those educators thought was substantial sex ed information.
-
- They were not just a sexual as they are now. Then (and I know, because that
- was my generation) it was out-of-the-ordinary for high school students to
- have sex. It was quite rare for them to have multiple partners. It was
- unheard of that one was gay. Now, it is out-of-the-ordinary for high
- school students to be virgins. It is normal that they have multiple
- partners. It is no big deal if one is gay.
-
- If you would like further information on what they were teaching as sex ed
- in public schools a couple of years ago, let me know and I will send you
- a copy of a report I wrote on the subject.
