  20. I think you're missing the point, Jon; the crime stats will never come 
  21. out on those numbers, because they were based on gays reporting the 
  22. incidents to the group, and *not* to the police; so there are no crime 
  23. records to appear.  So should the group (or any group in such a situation) 
  24. use the stats, if they have little to know verifiable backing, and 
  25. support the group's cause?
