  19. Oh, I made the (incorrect) assumption that you would have heard the 
  20. reports in the newspapers or on USENET; I've seen them in both places 
  21. several times.  my mistake.  A gay rights group in Denver claims that 
  22. incidents against gays have gone up 400%+ since the pass of #2. 
  23. That figure is being used to show that Colorado really is a 'hate state' 
  24. and that #2's passage has lead directly to increased violence and 
  25. discrimination against gays.  But these numbers don't have any 
  26. police records to back them up; do you think they should be used, 
  27. or is the group using them being irresponsible in your eyes?
