  17. anywayz, the discussion is getting far right.  i believe the original
  18. poster was questioning whether rush was pushing christianity in
  19. schools.  i think this can be answered by looking to the horse's
  20. mouth.  in recent radio programs, rush has said that the moral fiber
  21. of this country has gone to pot.  no argument here.  rush has also
  22. said that people have lessened the value of life and that the
  23. way to get this back is to hark back to the judeo-christian ethics
  24. this country was founded on.  *judeo-christian* appears to be
  25. inclusive of the jewish and christian faiths.  this is not so--
  26. judeo-christian is a simple moniker for *christian* beliefs, 
  27. specifically the old & new testaments.  the simple fact that the 
  28. new testament is included means NOT jewish.  hence, rush is pushing
  29. for teaching christianity in schools.  a noble idea, to say the least.
  30. but not one which conforms to american principles of welcoming all
  31. comers and tolerance for difference in faith/beliefs/religion/sexual
  32. preferences...

  34. i do think rush is making up for his recent run-in w/ his religious
  35. audience who had problems w/ his orgasms...  rush... the great
  36. communicator and defender of the first amendment... bending to the
  37. wishes of a vocal few... irony at its best.
