- Becuz then we couldn't disagree as to what a "real rave (tm)" is.

- I take mine with pepperoni, green peppers and extra sauce, please.

- I think the only thing I'd rather avoid more than a rave would be a
- Grateful Dead concert, so I'll pass on the parenthetical part....
- Out of the 50 or so persons who responded to my informal survey of this
- newsgroup, only a handful expressed disinterest in Techno, and I think just
- one person expressed outright disdain for it.
- Apparently, the music played at raves is in a state of evolution--the raves
- of tomorrow may indeed not have any Techno, but it'll probably be a while
- before all of the musics you mention are excluded from a rave.
- For someone like me whose gut feeling tells him that there should be a
- seperate newsgroup for Techno, this ultimate seperation of raves and Techno
- is a good thing. I fully sympathize with the skeptical tone I hear.

- I've been living at ground zero for a while.
- Hey, everyone who actually wants to write to Sassy should GET A LIFE!
- Yeah, right: I just *know* you all want the readers of Sassy to know
- ALL ABOUT RAVES and know the difference between underground and legit etc.,
- and then they can just start attending them in droves until the scene
- is SOAKED TO THE GILLS with Sassy-heads who really understand the true
- spirit of unity and brotherhood! Then you can complain about how the
- media has killed the rave scene becuz they've accurately informed everyone
- about rave which led to it becoming overrun.
-
- >no really, I'm just wondering, they do sound interesting.
-
- Sorry, I can't help you there.
