- And, yeah, I think this country would be a better place if
- Christians started dancing more. I hit a Catholic midnight
- christmass mass tonight, and it was pretty and all, but I'm thinking
- "what kind of solstice celebration is this? Jesus is this bread stuff?
- Not!" And comparing this to the Solstice Feast I went to last week,
- where everybody got up and started doing a medieval fertility dance
- to the beating drums, I could almost hear strings of "james brown
- is dead."
- >>>You hit it on the head there - Joy. That's the word. Ever heard of

-
- Yeah, I get this from raves. My fellow technopagans often
- turn on a portable HeNe laser, point it at the ceiling, and
- the beam becomes a red maypole we all dance around to the
- thumping beat.
-
- Watch out though, just because you're on endogenous opiates, and
- not some externally applied drug, don't think that religious
- rapture can't lead you as far away from reality as any usual
- drug can...

-
- I can actually comprehend Christian techno...grab some samples
- from J.C. Superstar, Life of brian, Kenneth Copeland, etc.
- Go for it!
-
- Hey, actually, where does that "hey poor, you don't have to be
- poor any more!" sample come from?
