  15. Well, I'm hardly an expert on anything related to marriage, but here's
  16. how I think about it:

  18. Even if your wife doesn't WANT to know, what happens when she finds out?
  19. Sometimes it can be very hard to ignore reality, especially when some
  20. "helpful" friend decides to explain to her what's going on. At the
  21. least, she's going to be very upset and embarrassed and unable to
  22. explain to the friend what's going on; at worst, you're going to be
  23. divorced.

  25. How is your lover going to deal with the fact that your wife doesn't
  26. know? I'd find that very unsettling. I don't like the concept of
  27. "sneaking around". I like being able to call up a lover any time to
  28. chat, and I'd feel awful if she answered the phone and I had to lie.

  30. How are you going to deal with keeping a part of your life hidden from
  31. your wife? This is what I would find hardest, if I were you. Lovers
  32. are people that I share my life with, and having pieces which are not
  33. not shared and MUST be hidden is not something I'd deal with. "Whew!
  34. She didn't find out today, so I'm not going to lose her today."

  36. Of course, everyone's different. But that's why I make my rules the
  37. way I do. And I had a discussion with a good friend about this last
  38. night who doesn't think about things the way I do, so it's obviously
  39. something that lots of people think differently about. Good luck.
