  12. Perhaps the most important rules in MISSING_CHILD echo are simply
  13. these:

  15.   1) Do not be easily offended.

  17.   2) Do not easily offend.

  19. Since the very nature of MISSING_CHILD echo deals with a highly
  20. emotional subject, Missing/Abducted children, you must realize
  21. that people may react strongly to messages you may post.  Please
  22. remember the purpose of this echo is to find missing and abducted
  23. children.

  25. When you post something in MISSING_CHILD, do so with the
  26. expectation that someone might take exception to it.  Some
  27. subjects provoke almost violent reactions among some conference
  28. users, and you should not be surprised to receive fierce and
  29. intemperant replies from time to time. This is inevitable in
  30. MISSING_CHILD, and it is considered bad form to run to the
  31. Moderator when it happens, unless specific violations of the
  32. topic rules above have taken place.

  34. Feelings run high in the MISSING_CHILD echo.
  35. The Moderators reserves the right to make these fine
  36. judgment calls as they see fit.

  46. way.

  49. discussions on the conference, without regard to his status as
  50. Moderator.  When he is acting specifically as Moderator, he will
