  22. Hello,
  23.     I have an irc server running on an Hp 9000 that uses HP-UX 8.07
  24.     I am running ircd version irc2.7.2g.
  25.  
  26.    Most things seem to work except /join #channel, 
  27.    When one does /join #WHIZZARD you get a message back saying 
  28.     *** CHANNEL #WHIZZARD  Unknown Command.
  29.    However if one use /quote join #whizzard you are able to join the channel
  30. a do virtually everything except change the topic. The only problem is that
  31. everything that i see is in the form of /msg #Whizzard ie the channel name
  32.    The status bar that keeps track of the modes is also screwed up a channel
  33. can have no mode and my line say +samt\
  34.

  36. (I'd actually like to add here, that I've tried the same - for a person
  37. who had such a large part in the creation of the IRC software, Darren,
  38. your EMAIL responses are very unfair to the people who support your
  39. software - not even a reply to tell people to try elsewhere - simply no
  40. response at all - it's utterly disgusting - Jason.)
