  26. Ditto on the information for an adaptor kit to put late model r&p steering
  27. on an early Mustang/Cougar/Fairlane/etc. I have a 1969 Cougar XR7 with the
  28. 390 engine and the power steering system on this car is a piece of crap that
  29. leaks like a sieve and when it does work, it totally removes all road feel
  30. from the steering wheel and is way too much power assist (I can turn the wheel
  31. from lock to lock with my little finger sitting still with the engine at idle)
  32. and when it doesn't work I need Popeye's can of spinach to turn the wheel. I
  33. really don't want to put the front end in such a state that it cannot be 
  34. returned to stock condition if I ever decide to restore it but if someone
  35. makes a rack&pinion retrofit kit that's all bolt-on I sure would            
  36. appreciate the info.
