- Death Metal is hardly rock and roll. I suggest that those with interest
- check out the long running series on Horror-Rock in Psychotronic Magazine,
- and lots of other fanzines.
-
- I have nothing against Death metal, hell, I've got Carcass's
- "Symphonies Of Sickness" running right now. It's great stuff, but it
- is hardly Rock. Metal is a bastard child of Rock, but it is not the parent.
-
- Early Misfits works as a fine example of updated Horror-rock.
- Particularly the first album "Misfits Walk Among Us".
-
- And much as I enjoy Carcass, I would hardly label them "Fantastic Musicians".
- Hyper as all get out, and repulsively imaginative, but not fantastic.
- Besides, isn't one member leaving to resume his studies as a Forensic
- Pathologist?
