- I didn't think of it as a disgrace at all. Sure, it wasn't anywhere near
- as complex as his novels, or even his short stories, but it's meant to be
- simple, IMHO -- after all it's even labelled as "A magical book for readers
- of all ages". Try looking at it from the point of view of a ten year old
- child. I think someone of that age would love this book. In fact, I can't
- wait until my neice puts a few years on her so I can introduce her to the
- writings of Clive Barker (scary stuff, eh?). :-)

- p.s. Weren't the illustrations great? I'd love to see more of his drawings.
- p.p.s. And the photo of the author was fantastic too -- who'd imagine this
- bespectacled kid would grow up to become such a warped guy?
