-
- the best (i.e. most famous) group of chanting Tibetan monks is the choir
- from the Gyuto monastary. they have a CD out on Rykodisc's world music
- label that was produced by Mickey Hart of the Dead (but don't hold that
- against the monks ;-). it's probably the best recording that i know of.
-
- there are also several Tibetan ceremonies on CD in Nonesuch records
- "Explorer" world music series. these are older recordings and not quite
- as good. any of these should be available in the "Tibet" section of any
- record store with a decent world music section.
