- If it's done RIGHT, it's REALLY hard to counter... No joke. I've seen
- it done to EXTREMELY good counter throwers, (including Ming) by "lesser"
- Blanka players....

-
- Crying cheap is the justification of loser SF2 players to themselves that
- the only reason they're losing is because you're cheap, not that they
- suck... I've been called cheap when I never even threw the guy... We have
- these losers here who I see every once in awhile who will complain to
- everyone else in the arcade that you're cheap (not just me either,
- practically anyone who can win) if you win more than 4 matches in a row.
-
- We do have people here who don't like ticks, but if they are any good,
- they never whine about it...
-
- The sign of an inadequate SF2 player is a whiner...
-
- For most ticks, you should be able to counter at least 50% if you
- are any good... And the ones that are harder to counter, should only
- be able to catch you once... (Blanka's bite tick can only be done
- once against characters that have difficulty countering it...)

-
- Yes, we can say beating people up is ridiculous, but still, I think an
- important thing to remember is it COULD happen... So next time you're
- alone in an unfamiliar arcade with 4 psychotic looking SF2 players,
- be careful...
-
- I remember there was this one guy we were kinda scared of. We called
- him the "Babyface Thug". (We know him now and he's a pretty cool guy)
- Anyways, he used to punch the screen HARD whenever he lost (he didn't
- care about cheaping, whatever) but he's about 6'3" and probably about
- 250 pounds... Before we knew him, we didn't want to beat him up to
- many times in a row (he was still learning, and this was during our
- UIUC "tickfest" period). We were only half serious about being scared
- of him, but you never know... I've had some players (those loser I
- mentioned) throw tantrums screaming at me.... so if you're in a
- strange arcade you'd probably better be careful...
-
- P.S. I read here once that someone once got knifed in Chinatown for
- beating a gang member "master". Could be rumor, but you never
- know...
-
-
- Bleah... just babbling on...
