- Lewis...thanks for the story..
-
- I think you are at what was once called NOSC, point loma, right?
-
- I used to service computer equipment there both bayside seaside..
- nice place to work!
-
- Anyway, do you know of the Proctor Valley ghost? Proctor Valley
- has a tale and for the life of me I cant remember the details.. it
- was a place for teenagers to go at night to see if they could
- encounter the ghost.. I have a friend who claims to have seen it.
- He and some other of my friends went there for the same reason..something
- to do for fun.. He claims that they were walking in the valley
- talking and they noticed something against the dark background about
- 50 yds away..it was lighter than the background foliage and taller
- than wider..about the size of the human body. He says that when they
- noticed it they couldnt recognize what it was and it was stationary.
- They didnt think much of it, could be anything and continued walking
- and talking about what it could be. They noticed though that it
- would change position.. They really couldnt tell if it was moving..
- certainly, when they stopped to observe, it was stationary. They
- would move up the road 50 more yards and it appeared to be trailing
- them. Well, needless to say this scared the sh** out of them and
- they decided to go back to the car and head home without approaching
- the object. It wasnt glowing either, just lighter than the background.
-
- I have never encountered anything supernatural and remain a skeptic
- until the day I do.. I envy you.. I am intensely curious about these
- things, being formally educated in science myself. I know my
- friends and they are not ones to make up hoky stories...I can only
- assume that they described what they saw was what they think something
- other than a reflection. There was no moon in the sky and this object
- was lurking in foliage.
-
- I guess they saw the Proctor Valley ghost.. I think I recall hearing
- that the ghost is supposed to be a woman.
-
- If you ever hear about this one, I'd appreciate you posting here...
-
- Thanks, Lewis.
