- A bit off-topic, but a strange example:
-
- Whoopi Goldberg's latest movie (actually, I'm not sure whether it's been
- released yet) is supposed to take place on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley.
- So - do they film the movie on Telegraph Avenue? No. Do they construct
- a set in their studio? No. Instead, they move one block over to College
- Avenue, and spend gobs of money making it *look* like Telegraph Avenue.
- I know there must be a reason for it (permits, getting someone to let
- the film crew use their store) but it still seems rather bizarre to me.
