  33. You are incorrect in assuming that Ents are trees.  They were no more
  34. trees than dwarves were rocks.  This is outlined in the Silmarillion
  35. where it states that Aule made the dwarves, and Yavanna made the
  36. "shepherds of the trees", and proclaimed that they would never get along.
