- Oh, yeah! I remember that color guard! They were real foxes!
- I was especially fond of the guard captain, Wanda "Cheshie" Young.
- We were pen pals for 2 years and dated a couple of times. Pity it
- didn't work out :_( ! I hope the judge wasn't checking out her.

- Back to judge traps--In 1978, SCV's guard formed a tight circle at
- the end of the first song of the Gayne Ballet Suite. Well, at
- DCI Midwest prelims, they managed to trap *3* judges in it! There
- the judges were, penned in by women standing on one leg holding up
- hoops while the crowd was snickering at them. Amusing for us in AK,
- embarrassing for the judges. They didn't repeat that mistake at
- finals that night!
