- I have the same thing - only on very rare occasions is the lighting
- unusually bright or dark - it's usually right around the brightness of
- things like stores or my room or whatever. I have two theories:
- A) That's the light level I see 90% of the time while awake...
- B) My brain doesn't like having to create shadows.

- I don't know where I came up with theory B, but it struck me once that
- rarely, if ever, are there shadows for the objects in my dreams. I
- have tried (unsuccessfully) to use that as a lucidity trigger.

- I do occasionally have dreams in which there is bright sunlight,
- and there are shadows in those dreams...

- Still trying to get to the boat... It's frustrating, I can't imagine
- why I haven't been able to make it yet... Hopefully, I'll get there
