  13. I had a lucid dream recently in which upon realizing that I was dreaming 
  14. I had a specific place in mind that I wanted to travel to. But I had 
  15. trouble getting there. 
  16.    First I tried closing my eyes, imagining the place, then when I opened 
  17. my eyes I'd be there! That was the theory, anyway. What happened was, I 
  18. kept worrying about bumping into walls, and I knew my locale hadn't 
  19. changed because the ground under my feet felt the same. (Maybe I should 
  20. have tried that flying!)
  21.    Eventually I resurfaced somewhere else - in a short corridor. On the 
  22. floor was a picture of the place I was trying to get to. So I just dove 
  23. into it - and that finally worked.
