- It would depend on what you define as the culture. The real
- underground/hacker
- culture is busy doing, both on creative and technical levels, the ultimate
- example being MindVox where an entire movement is taking place and headed up
- by the former members of the Legion of Doom, Knights of Shadow, and a dozen
- other
- organizations out of the past, who were active in the early 80's. of course
- its
- also taking place all over Mondo since the principle partners of Phantom
- Access
- are also authors and one of the places they are regularily published is
- Mondo.
-
- On different levels, VR companies doing serious work are usually looking at
- Nintendo and its success, not a bunch of net weenies who want to wire in and
- jack in.
-
- You'd have to define your own place within the culture and figure out just
- what
- it is that you contribute. If the answer is nothing, then you can always
- spend
- your time on alt.cyberpunk complaining about what everyone else is doing ;)
