  13. Hello all,
  14.    I have a MAGNAVOX CD-ROM. I didn't use it for some time. I tried to
  15. install it again to my system just about a week ago.
  16.    I changed the files CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT as needed by including
  17. the MSCDEX driver for the CD-ROM. The problem is that it says that 1  device
  18. has been found and successfully initialized and its drive (F) is there. But
  19. when I do a dir command at that drive (of the CD) the CD active light blinks
  20. and I get nothing for some while .. just like the system has hanged and then it
  21. sayd .. drive not ready error .. and gives this error # : CDR101 .
  22.   Can any one help me out there and tell me whats wrong here ?!!  I suspect
  23. that the drive itself has something wrong .. may be its missed up or has a bad
  24. IC .. who knows !!  :)
