  13. Can anyone give me recommendations for buying a CD-ROM drive to
  14. be used with a Soundblaster Pro/Soundblaster 16?  Since the 16
  15. is coming out in a few weeks (as I understand it), it's probably
  16. a better idea to wait for it than to buy the older Pro.

  18. I'd also like to connect a CD-ROM drive to the Soundblaster Pro or
  19. 16.  What CD-ROM drives would be recommended?  In particular,
  20. does anyone have opinions of the Panasonic CD-ROM drive that
  21. Creative Labs is bundling with the Pro in the Multimedia Starter
  22. package?  Would it be better to buy the drive and sound card
  23. as separates?

  25. What kind of interface between the CD-ROM drive and sound card
  26. works well?  I hear that you can connect the headphone output of
  27. the CD-ROM drive to the analog input of the soundcard (would
  28. this be the microphone input?), and I also hear about a 3- or 4-wire
  29. cable for doing some kind of connection.  What's the story?
