  20. Amongst 4 machines- 2 1542Bs, 2 1740s (standard mode), and 3 CDR-74s, I've
  21. **never** seen the NEC drive work with the Adaptecs.  Never.  No combination
  22. works.  I've all the right software (including latest EZSCSI) and tried the
  23. Corel drivers.  Operations work for about a sec, then return an error message.

  25. No probs with Toshiba 3301 readers; no probs using the 74s w/ T128 cards.
