- Amongst 4 machines- 2 1542Bs, 2 1740s (standard mode), and 3 CDR-74s, I've
- **never** seen the NEC drive work with the Adaptecs. Never. No combination
- works. I've all the right software (including latest EZSCSI) and tried the
- Corel drivers. Operations work for about a sec, then return an error message.
